Christmas Cards: Free Hugging Cat Card Printout (DIY)


  

Today I am offering you my favorite card that I have designed to date! I originally made this for someone very special to me for their birthday- but it can be used for many occasions. I could see giving it to someone you care for during Christmas. Probably someone, or a couple, who loves cats! Perhaps it is good to give to someone far away, who you will hug again someday:



 

Free Cat Card PDF Printable Colorized

 

With this printable, you can print and cut out the exact cats pictured, already colored. You may need an exacto knife to do this with the most ease. If you use an exacto knife you will need to cut it on a surface which will sustain cuts. There are special rubber mats which can be used, or in a pinch, I've used the front of an old spiral bound notebook when I don't mind the first few pages and the cardboard cover being sliced up. 

When these cats print, there will be more ink used than the non-colorized cats, especially because the white cat has a dark background to clearly show contrast & make it easier to cut out.

New Years Eve Tradition: Reflection and Resolution

For many of the past 15 years, I have observed my own solitary New Year's Eve tradition. It started when I was 15 and I decided to write New Year’s resolutions for the first time. I made myself a fancy beverage- the first year it was just a mixture of various juices. Many other years it has been a cup of tea fixed up to be a little festive. This year I'm finally having a cup of Oolong tea which I've been craving for the past few months. Simple Green Bean Recipe: No Garlic

This is my simple green bean recipe:   What you need: ·          1 frying pan  ·          1-2 cups Green Beans (I used about 4 handfuls of fresh beans.) ·          About 1 tbsp of butter (you can certainly substitute with a dairy free butter alternative if desired.) ·          1/8 tsp or a pinch or two of fennel seeds ·          A shake or two or three of salt.
